Ministry
Goal: While
our ministries are many and varied, AIM's primary goal
is to plant maturing churches of the Lord Jesus Christ through
the evangelization of unreached people groups and the effective
preparation of church leaders. |

Vision for Ministry
We
believe that God can use men and women from all walks of life for
His kingdom-building purposes. That belief is reflected in the diversity
of ministries within Africa Inland Mission. All of our ministries
are designed to directly or indirectly impact two areas:
1. To reach unreached peoples with the Gospel
of Jesus Christ, and to plant maturing churches among those peoples.
2. To strengthen and equip the church through leadership training
and development.
Many
times ministries such as medicine or community development can serve
as doorways or relational bridges to a people who may otherwise
be resistant to missionaries. Teaching in national schools affords
inroads into the lives of Africa’s children – Africa’s
future. Bible Schools, such as Scott Theological College in
Kenya, or Mozambique’s Sofala Bible Institute provide environments
for investing in the lives of future Church leaders.
Other
ministries exist to undergird the work of fellow missionaries. Administrative
and technical support ministries help to keep things running smoothly
on the front lines. Finances, purchasing and shipping, visa processing
and government relations, aviation, and a variety of other vital
support services are all handled by uniquely qualified men and women
of the AIM team.
